and left me NO time or energy to update our blog! Here's just a sampling of all the exciting things going on in our family...
We had a wedding! Yes, thrilling doesn't begin to describe the joy we felt as the entire family gathered in the living room one evening to watch Tubby and Bear tie the knot, complete with homemade wedding rings and confetti. They seem to be very happy, although I've noticed lately that Bear has been sleeping in the toy box...while Tubby the hippo is sleeping in Blue Eye's room. Hopefully they'll work it out.
February found me in St. George with my lifetime BFFs, Katy and Megen (and baby Jamie). A blast to hang out and laugh so hard I nearly wet my pants on several occasions. 11 kids between us and we haven't aged a day since high school. (right.)
I also attended the MAGIC tradeshow in Vegas with my favorite sisters (and only) where we scouted out retail booths and new design ideas for next year's swim line. Here we are stuffing ourselves with pizza at CPK after an exhausting two days.
Blue Eyes (and tongue), me and Miss Freckles hit the State Girls Basketball tourney. I bribed the girls into going by buying them candy (hence the blue tongue), but regretted taking them after they fought and cried the whole way home. Luckily we snapped a picture while things were still good.
Apparently I eat a lot, and take pictures when I eat...(which might explain why I've gained 10 pounds since January! hmmph!). The Guy and I enjoyed Indian food at our fav place, Royal India, and then hit a movie together. Dang, I love this man!
Celebrating my beautiful Mother's birthday at our house in March. She is absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful to live so close to her and see her as often as I do. She is a listening ear and a cheerleader for all of us in the family and we adore her!
Weird, more food shots. See what I mean? Drama Queen and I met up with my sister C, and her girls G & J (who had just had oral surgery the day before, but was a trooper and still came!) for dinner at Jason's Deli. After we gorged, we went downtown to the General Young Women's Broadcast (although poor J got a little car sick on the way and threw up in a ziplock baggie when we arrived downtown). I love this shot of me and Drama Queen with the Salt Lake Temple in the background. I love having a daughter in YW--it's so fun to attend these events with her!
Freckles was lucky enough to bring home the class guinea pig for the weekend. And it was a long weekend, so we had Licorice 4 days. YES! It was awesome, considering how much I love rodents. But it made Freckles so very happy, so it was entirely worth it. That weekend coincided with the two weeks where we watched my parents two poodles while they (my parents, not the poodles) went on a cruise. So I felt like I was a crazy animal lady all weekend with four pets in the house. ha! who would have thought!
And last but not least,
Lime Ricki has been unbelievably busy as we launched our new spring line, are currently re-doing our website (which we started in November and still aren't done with), and are working on next year's line, along with trying to figure out what is next for our company. I love working with my sisters and we are so grateful that things are going so well. We've made appearances on Fox Morning News and Good Things Utah. Here are two of our beautiful models at the channel 4 studio this week. Next week will be channel 2 Noon news. Exciting!
We are feeling unbelievably blessed to be busy and having so many great things going on in our lives.
Hooray for the Brud Fam blog update! I was just thinking that swimsuit season is really killing your blogtime! I love the photo of you and Chloe in front of the temple--that will be a keeper forever! By the way, I don't mind the food photos. :)

So fun to catch up with you guys! :) I love the swimsuits and keep telling Jonathan I need to get one soon...(cuz I really don't want to wear my maternity one from last summer!)
Maddy keeps talking about wanting to have your girls up for her birthday party in May. She LOVES them to pieces! :) Anyway, maybe it will be an excuse to see you guys soon.

Love the new photos and stories--I am so excited to take my girl to the YW Broadcast when she turns 12. I would love to go to temple square--only problem is, our ward usually makes a big deal here, so she won't want to choose! What a problem! Anyway, great new swim suits!
